Archana Bhaskar and Bhaskar Jayaraman

Archana Bhaskar is CHRO, Dr. Reddy’s Labs and a member of the Management Council. With 32+ years of global experience in various industries, she champions human capital and societal impact. Previously at Royal Dutch Shell for 10 years, she held key HR roles, including global commercial businesses and talent management. Before that, she spent 15 years at Unilever, with roles in India and Europe.Archana, an alumnus of Lady Shri Ram College and IIM Bangalore, is passionate about mentoring and coaching. Archana serves on multiple boards, including The HR Fund and Ahmedabad University’s Industry Advisory board. She’s a member of CII National Committee on Skilling and Livelihoods and the Governing Board of LSSSDC. Recently, she joined the Board of Governors of IIM Raipur.
Bhaskar has 27 years of rice corporate experience, predominantly in banking, IT, and engineering. His banking tenure involved operations, product management, and trading roles, notably at Citibank and American Express. In software for banking, he led the development of a wealth management product and played a pre-sales role in Europe. His engineering experience includes a role at TVS-Suzuki overseeing the rollout of a new 2-wheeler model.
In 2017 he transitioned into social sector volunteering. This career shift was fueled by a passion for uplifting the less privileged. He contributes to NGOs focusing on education, inclusion, livelihoods, and disaster relief. Additionally, he financially supports organizations like Parikrma Humanity Foundation, Goonj, and Youth4jobs. His involvement includes mentoring students, organizing collection drives, and promoting reuse. He also assisted Youth4jobs in developing e-learning on corporate sensitization towards persons with disabilities and creation of a job portal for PWDs.
