The biggest opportunity for us lies in leveraging some strong government partnerships established in Telangana. The relationships will enable us to implement programs that can be co-designed with the government ensuring ownership and sustainability for whatever we do.

UNLOCK. Our work involves working with the government to unlock the potential of key stakeholders like school principals and education officers to create a meaningful impact on India’s children.

When I was in high school, I felt I had no agency in my life on what kind of life (or career) I could choose, even though I came from a relatively privileged background. I also realized then that life would be extremely unfair for children who came from underprivileged families, as the education system they had access to could hardly help them escape the socio-economic trap. I entered this field because I genuinely believe that quality education can alleviate both poverty and misery, and I wanted to play a small part in transforming India’s education system.
