Frank Hancock

Frank is a UK citizen and has been working in India since 1994. He calls himself a “Recovering banker” (ex Warburg, ABN, Barclays) and chairs the strategy consultant Hakluyt in India. He has co- founded two startups- Cleantech Solar (sold to Shell and Capel) and Clean Edge Water.

In the social sector, Frank co – founded a charity called Tiggy’s Trust which provides mental health and other support to young riders. He has studied at Oxford, where he was elected President of his college student union and has a masters degree from Georgetown University. He is a member of RBYC and sails in Mumbai Harbour.

His family lives in Ireland and 2 of his daughters were national level eventers, and were the inspiration for “”Tiggy’s Trust””. He was originally drawn to working in India as his family has a 200 year association with India.
