“Make education work for me! Empower us to become the future talent force of the country!” is the clarion call of students from economically weaker sections that Anahata UNITED EFFORTS Foundation, an NGO headquartered in Bengaluru, is championing.
By working and learning from over 11,000+ students from across India, United Efforts has developed and implemented a 21st century skills enabled STEAM Career Planning Curriculum. Through classes 8th to 10th, students are exposed to 18 different sectors. Further the curriculum works on building agency in the students to face problems and achieve their goal of becoming a professional.

The SVP-United Efforts Partnership
United Efforts has signed an MOU with Karnataka Residential Schools Department (KREIS) to empower 1.2 lakh residential school students to take informed actions for their future. Towards this the teachers of the 804 residential school teachers will undergo training on UE’s 21st century skills enabled STEAM Career Planning Curriculum. SVP Partners are supporting UE to prepare for the scale and ensure impact at scale.
Story of success
Monamma – I am a 9th class student studying in Govt High School. We are from Raichur. My father has married again and has stopped supporting us. However, I know through our Career Planning classes that I do not have to have a future like my mother. I am interested in the sciences and want to have a career in the healthcare sector. There are also scholarships available. I got to know about all this through my UE class. I will convince my mother not to get me married, so I can better the future of my family.
Dileep – I am in 8th class studying in a Govt High School. We migrated from Nallur, Andhra Pradesh 7 years ago. My teachers think I am very naughty and disturb the class. This year we had a new subject called Career Planning. The teacher presented us with many sectors. The Information Technology sector matched my interest. I am good at Math and like doing math puzzles. If I study well I can get a good job in the IT companies.
