About the partner
Shilpa is a Chartered Accountant who started her career with Citigroup in corporate and investment banking operations. Post Citigroup, Shilpa incubated and sold an art portfolio venture. She is also a certified global career counselor from UCLA. She spends active time mentoring students, startups and sponsoring social initiatives across a few NGOs.
Early-stage investing is an equal passion for Shilpa and her husband Harjeet, via India Angel Network and other early-stage platforms, primarily as investors and selectively as mentors.

When I joined SVP India, I was actively involved with the Literacy India project. 4 years later, I’m still with SVP because I enjoy active participation and passionate discussions. I’m happy and proud to be part of the SVP Delhi family. We are a small group, and it is great to sit around the table and engage with others equally passionate about philanthropy.
