About the partner
Ram is an agri graduate and professional. He has spent 40 years in the agri input field since passing out of IIMA. He has been involved in public policy in agriculture. Ram was a member of the Dr RS Paroda Committee appointed by the Principal Scientific Adviser to the GOI which submitted a report on Strategies and Action for Secure and Sustainable Agriculture in India recently. He has served on the board of Axis Bank, is Director General of FSII, a seed industry body, and is co-founder of ThinkAg, a platform for promoting innovation and entrepreneurship in food and agriculture. Ram writes regularly on agri policy matters through his blog in Times of India, on LinkedIn and in many newspapers. He is a keen follower of cricket, Indian music and movies. He likes to read history, autobiographies and fiction. He writes short stories in Telugu.
Ram’s wife Usha was a teacher and counselor in schools. Their son, Aditya, is a graduate in engineering from the USA and has an MBA from IIMC.
Usha has a Master’s in Psychology. She has also been actively involved with different schools as a teacher and a counsellor.
