Ravi Venkatesan

Ravi Venkatesan is the founder of SVP India and also a current partner. He is the Chairman of the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet. He is also the Founder of GAME- Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship and a Unicef Special Representative for Young People and Innovation at UNICEF.
He has been the Board Member of Hitachi, The Rockefeller Foundation & Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and the Environment, and a Venture Partner at Unitus Seed Fund. In the past, Ravi was Chairman of the Board at Bank of Baroda, Member of the Board of Directors at Infosys & AB Volvo, and a Chairman at Microsoft & Cummins India. Ravi is the author of ‘Conquering the Chaos: Win in India, Win Everywhere, published by Harvard Business Review Press, and ‘What the heck do I do with my life?’

Ravi has completed his MBA from Harvard Business School, MS in Engineering from Purdue University, and Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
