M. Prabhakar Rao & Asha Priya

M.Prabhakar Rao is the Chairman and Managing Director of Nuziveedu Seeds Ltd (NSL), the largest seed company in the country. He has made pioneer efforts in making new technologies available to the farmers at an affordable price and bridging the gap between technology developers and seed companies.

He has served as a founding member of the National Seed Association of India (NSAI), chairman of FICCI-Andhra Pradesh State Council, Cotton Advisory Board, Ministry of Textiles, etc. He has established a charitable trust, Mandava Foundation, that supports several Education, Health Care, and agricultural productivity initiatives.

Asha Priya is on the Board of Directors of Nuziveedu Seeds Ltd. She has an experience of over 20 years in the Seed Business. She has a bachelor’s degree in ‘Interior Design and Clothing Construction’ and a master’s degree in Science (Home Science). She also holds a postgraduate diploma in journalism and a diploma in Kuchipudi Dance.
