Hemant Joshi

Hemant is the ex-Telecom Media and Technology head of Deloitte India. He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). He has 40 years of experience in professional services. Hemant has extensive public company assurance experience and has over the years, served as an Audit Partner on some of India’s & the world’s largest, complex and most reputed companies. In addition to his audit experience, he has significant experience in advisory work in the area of risks, controls, internal audit, due diligence, etc. He has also led the IPO of one of the largest Telecom companies in India. Hemant has also served the Financial Services sector in the past. He has served reputed listed/multinational companies in the telecommunication, information technology & manufacturing sector. Hemant is the former TMT India leader & was a Client & Market leader. Under his leadership, Deloitte has been a strategic knowledge partner for various Institutes in the Telecom Domain and has published many reports on current telecom topics.

Hemant played a vital role in the Inclusive Indian Innovations 2013 report (which covers case studies & perspectives of grassroots innovations of India), the first of its kind in India.
